Sarah Rose is a New Zealand artist and writer currently
living and working between Glasgow and Auckland. She is currently completing a
Masters in Fine Art at the Glasgow
School of Art.
Recent exhibitions include Artissima,
Turin Art Fair Curated Projects, Life Jacket Under Seat, Flip
Projectspace, Naples/Toronto, To Say the Least, Newcall Gallery, News
Travels Faster in a Room Without Walls, New Artist Show, Artspace, Auckland.
Forthcoming exhibitions include an exhibition at RM in Auckland in 2012. Recent
publication projects include: How to Be a Magician in Your Spare Time
(publication project with Scott Rogers) and a text I Went to the Moon and
Brought You Back Earth for an exhibition by Suzanne Dery at La Centrale,
Montreal (with Scott Rogers). In November this year she will undertake a
residency at The Banff Centre, Canada. She was a co-founder and trustee of
Newcall, an artist-run initiative and occasional publishing venture, from
2008–10 in Auckland, New Zealand.
