Jay Mosher is from
Calgary, Alberta, currently pursuing his Masters of Fine Arts at The Glasgow
School of Art. His practice explores the potential of materials, objects,
landscape and space working together, manifesting itself as a mixture of
drawing, sculpture, installation and site-specific works. Recent site-specific
works include Talisman, a 5’ pane of glass housed and spun in a
precisely engineered mechanism installed in the badlands of Alberta, and a 50’
tall 28 ton Trojan Horse pulled and burned at the 2011 Burning Man festival in
Black Rock City, Nevada.
