From New Orleans, Louisiana, Minka Stoyanova is currently pursuing her Masters in Fine Art at the Glasgow School of Art. She holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Tulane University, and a B.A. in Studio Art | Photography from the University of New Orleans. Her studio practice combines new and traditional media to reference popular and popularized culture while engaging with social memes, networks, and global complexity. She has exhibited in group and solo exhibitions in New Orleans, New York City, and Glasgow and is an active member of various artist collectives and community initiatives in Glasgow and New Orleans.
